The Science department has been continuing with their syllabus, with a range of hands on and interesting practicals to support the students learning， through an inquiry based approach. We have recently and successfully completed the Group 4 Project, where DP students created their own investigations on the Baiyun Mountain. Some groups presented their findings to the whole school during an Assembly, after all passing the IB requirements – a credit to the engagement and efforts of all concerned. Recently, in Biology there have been dissections during class time; in Chemistry DP1 students have been practicing investigations with the preparation of the IA in mind; and in Physics they have continued to use the Data Logger equipment in order to collect and analyze readings related to Forces and their effects. A few images have been placed here to give you a flavour of what has been happening in the department.
